This League earns you 3 EWS points.
This 9-hole weekly league is conducted on the Braemar Championship Course Tuesday evenings beginning around late April-early May, depending on course conditions, and continuing for around 20 weeks. The top 8 teams will compete in the play-offs after the regular season, which will continue for three weeks culminating with the Championship as well as the third place match. The TU League is open to all BMC members, regardless of ability.
Tee times will begin at 4:00pm every Tuesday, and continue until 6:00pm. Play will alternate between holes 1-9 and 10-18 each week.
The format is Match Play, utilizing full 9-hole handicaps (maximum 17 strokes). Six points are available for each match. Player A from one team plays against player A from the other team. Player B vs. player B. Two points to the winner, one point to each player in the event of a tie. The team that wins the most holes get the two points for a win, or one each in the event of a tie.
Three member teams will be created by the event coordinators to ensure balanced handicaps. REQUESTS TO PLAY WITH OTHER MEMBERS WILL BE CONSIDERED AND, IF HANDICAPS ALLOW, WILL BE HONORED. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLAY WITH ANOTHER BMC MEMBER PLEASE CONTACT THE COORDINATORS WITH YOUR REQUEST.
There is a limitation of 78 players (26 teams of 3), so prompt entry is to your benefit. Any entries after the limit is reached will be put on a sub list. Any BMC member can sub.
The event fee is $15.00 for the season. Signup on the BMC Membership Form.
